Kim Jones To Launch His Own Namesake Label

It’s a good day for the fashion-obsessed! Kim Jones, the former creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear, Fendi womenswear and Dior Men, is launching his own namesake label. The collection will arrive in mid-2027.

The line will be financed by Jones and an unnamed investor and include men’s and women’s wear. It will debut with a 4,000-square-foot store in Central Yards in Hong Kong and a global e-store.  The British-based brand will be priced from 150 British pounds for a T-shirt to 1,300 pounds for a cashmere overcoat (about $200 and $1,700).  The New York Times reports Jones may do a consumer fashion show in Asia off-season and he isn’t planning to wholesale the collection. Instead, he’ll have shop-in-shops in European department stores.

“After many years working with incredible houses and collaborators, it feels like the right moment to do something under my own name again,” Jones said in a statement. “This brings together the things I’ve always been interested in: fashion, art and design, and gives me the space to work with people I admire and explore new ideas. I’m excited about what comes next.”

Jones departed Dior in January 2025 and has since taken on projects in Asia, such as creating a premium line for the Chinese outerwear label Bosideng. He also launched a travel-first wardrobe with luxury hospitality group Aman.  If Jones is lucky, he’ll have the same fortunes as another British designer, Phoebe Philo, who launched her own line in 2023 after her successful run at Celine.  According to sources, her label generated over £32m ($43 million USD) in sales in 2025.
